I’m Neha Singla, the proud owner of Posh Events and Co. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
From the time I was young, I always loved weddings and events and always helped with the weddings of my family and friends. I went on to study accounting but soon realized that it was not something that excited me. Accounting was more about stability, and my real passion lay in wedding planning.
So, with this realization, I, along with my amazing mother-in-law, started planning weddings, eventually leading to owning my own wedding planning company and making it a full-time career. Fast forward to now. I have been in the wedding planning industry for many years and love what I do.
Obviously, planning weddings is a learning process, and today I do things very differently from when I started. I now pride myself on executing some of the most complex logistics for the event in the most seamless and smooth way. Over the years, I have also gained experience hosting various types of weddings and have developed a simplified and thoughtful process that will lead to a stress-free experience for couples.
The most rewarding part of my business is watching the months of preparation and hard work comes together on the day, resulting in a beautiful, memorable event for the couple and all in attendance. I additionally thrive on the creativity part of wedding planning. Whether helping clients find suitable colour palettes, ensuring the event flows with the theme or making sure all the tableware and cutlery are placed perfectly.
My business philosophy is to not only create beautiful weddings but do so in the most perfect and seamless way possible.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart is that I plan and coordinate every wedding as if it were my own. I also always have a Plan B and strive to pay attention to every detail to ensure the event runs smoothly, like swiss clockwork.
I attribute my success to my beautiful couples who trust us with what is probably the biggest day of their lives. I have also been blessed with a fantastic team and reliable partners without whom none of this would be possible.
The most satisfying moment in my business was our first destination wedding in New York, which was a huge success. We have been looking to expand outside of Canada, and this milestone gave me immense satisfaction.
When I am not at work, I love travelling. I actually find much inspiration observing different trends and cultures and find it opens my mind to unique and creative things I would never have thought of had I stayed home.
